Glass Sliding Doors For The Balcony

Glass sliding doors for the balcony is a very practical, and very aesthetic solution that will fit both the apartment and a private home. Such doors provide the necessary air exchange in the room, pass the maximum of light and very elegantly separate the room and balcony from each other.
Thanks to the sliding design, the doors do not take up much space and allow more efficient use of the space of the room or the balcony itself. Compared to a conventional balcony block, sliding glass doors also benefit because they visually make a room larger.
Depending on the features of the room and the balcony, there are different options for sliding glass balcony doors. For example, if the balcony is well insulated and heated in winter, then we can limit ourselves to the frameless door design, which is as transparent as possible. If the balcony is cold, then you need a design with a frame that in winter will ensure the preservation of heat in the room.

Glass Sliding Doors For The Balcony
Glass for sliding balcony doors should be carefully chosen because it is not only a matter of aesthetics but also reliability, durability, and safety. Special tempered glass or triplex is best suited for balcony doors - these types of glass have increased strength and are safety-proof: when broken tempered glass is falling into small rounded fragments which do not have sharp edges, and triplex does not crumble at all, since fragments are securely fixed on the bonding layers of glass polymer film.

Glass Sliding Doors For The Balcony

Glass sliding doors for the balcony are beautiful and comfortable, they are suitable for both narrow and wide openings, well suited to different interior options. It is only necessary to choose a suitable design and contact Giovani Glass to get high-quality glass doors with impeccable design, durability, reliability and comfortable use.

Glass Canopies

Tempered glass canopies confidently supplant their predecessors from polycarbonate, concrete or wood. The glass is not inferior, and in many cases even exceeds other materials with its main characteristics. The curved and semicircular, straight and multifaceted glass dashes and canopies offered by Giovani Glass, have not only stylish appearance and impeccable quality but also serve as excellent protection against all kinds of atmospheric precipitation, which is the main task of such structural elements

Glass Canopies

The main advantages of glass canopies:
·       Excellently protects the premises from the penetration of atmospheric precipitation, bright light, and wind, while they are not exposed to temperature fluctuations and thermal effects, characteristic of our climate, and the perfectly smooth surface does not allow snow and ice to stay on the surface.

Glass Canopies

     Provides natural light for indoor space. You can apply a special colored film, which protects the canopy from direct sunlight and adds shade with the desired degree of transparency. So, you can order absolutely transparent, translucent, matte or non-transparent canopies.
·       The safety of glass canopies is provided by a multilayer glass (triplex), which is also used in automobiles. Such a glass, in the case of a devastating impact, can only crack but does not crumble to pieces. This is achieved by bonding a few glass beads to the viscous material.
·       Glass canopies and sheds have a modern and stylish look, being a decorative element and a decoration of any facade. The ability to use both flat and curved glass allows you to implement any design decisions, creating a unique and sophisticated style.

·       Long service life of canopies is provided by materials from which they are made. Tempered glass is not oxidized and deformed under the influence of time and is practically eternal material. Frames made of stainless steel guarantee strength and perfect appearance for many years.

Glass Paiting

A colorless glass is not always the perfect solution for a particular design. That is why the painting of glass is becoming more and more popular as it allows receiving window and furniture glass with new decorative properties.
The painting of glass is a technology of decorative treatment of glass when we apply polymer varnishes with a wide palette of various colors and shades on a surface of a glass. You can see colored glass on the facades of shops or in offices.
Glass Paiting

Practically any glass can be painted, regardless of thickness, composition and shape. The glass is painted with special enamels, which provide the perfect uniformity of the paint and create a very stable paint layer. Painted glass is used to create furniture (glass tables, stands, cabinets, etc.), glazing of stained glass, doors and partitions, as well as in the manufacture of mirrors.

Giovani Glass has an experience of supplying painted glass for:
 • furniture facades
• facades for cabinets
• kitchen backsplashes
• doors
• interior partitions
 • painting in a triplex.
We will do our best that the glass decoration makes harmonious part of the interior.
It is recommended to use painted glass in dry rooms. For durability in open areas, in wet rooms, as a rule, it is necessary to use an additional protective coating.

Glass Constructions Made Of Laminated Glass (Triplex)

The word "triplex" comes from its Latin equivalent "triplex", which means "triple". This term means a special technology for the manufacture of glass products, and its result - a special laminated glass.

Triplex technology is the construction of a sort of layered "cake" of two or more glasses and a special polymer between them, which does not allow the destruction of glass by mechanical effects. In this case, all the properties of glass as a material are preserved.
The range of use of triplex is very wide, but we can distinguish two main areas: industrial or architectural triplex and decorative triplex.
Architectural Triplex is a composition of several layers of glass glued together with a special resin. Layers can be made of glass of the same or different types, straight or bent in accordance with a given shape (they are given a shape before gluing).

Glass Constructions Made Of Laminated Glass (Triplex)

Laminated glass is recommended to be used as a glass protecting against burglary, bullets, fire and noise, to protect a person from various injuries, as well as for the manufacture of insulating glass windows, i.e. fulfilling their main function - protective. Due to the polymer layer the material's transparency is somewhat lower, and its heat and sound insulation qualities are higher than those of ordinary glass of the same thickness.
The impact strength of the material depends on the type of glass from which it is made.
Laminated glass, depending on its purpose, is divided into the following types:
 shock resistant;
bulletproof;
 fireproof;
explosion proof;
 noise protective;
 frost resistant;
Plastic glass with special properties, for example, electrochromic (smart-glass).

Laminated glass is used for cover facades and structural glazing, windows and partitions, floors and stairs, canopies and awnings, doors and windows, ranging from residential buildings and commercial real estate to special engineering and trains.

A different combination of layers of glass and polymer allows to get different classes of resistance. Preserving the high strength of the glazing, triplex provides reliable protection of the premises from unauthorized entry, which is widely used in banks.
Giovani Glass is offering you a wide range of goods where laminated glass is used and we guarantee the quality.

Glass Partitions

Glass Partitions

Glass partitions are designed for rapid zoning of space without a drastic cost of serious renovation. The use of such partitions is aesthetical and impressively solves a number of interior tasks. Separation of premises for the creation of individual space, sanitary blocks, trading rooms or offices. Visually the air walls in the office do not obscure working areas, absorb noise that interferes with and creates comfortable conditions. They are widely used in shopping centers attracting buyers with beautiful showcases, through which the shelves with goods are well viewed. Glass partitions can be decorated in many ways. You can apply photo printing or sandblasting on its surface.
Transparent designs help create the illusion of space, even in a small area, making the room light and modern.

Types of glass partitions
-        Solid partitions;
-        Frame partitions;
-        Mobile partitions.
Glass partitions are made from tempered material, if the product safety is required, triplex technology is used. The material becomes firm and heat-resistant after hardening. The main advantage of such material is safety. If you break the glass wall (it's not easy to do it), it splits into small pieces with blunt edges. The manufacturer usually offers several variants of designs: solid glass - visually aerial structures without a frame, glass fills the entire space from floor to ceiling; frame - the main load falls on a frame made of aluminum, steel or wood (the choice of profile depends on design ideas). Constructions of this type provide better soundproofing.
Different glass partitions and type of installation:
• stationary - rigidly fastened to the floor and ceiling by clamping or point fittings;
• mobile - modular systems that are easy to move and mount in a new place;
• convertible - help to rebuild the room instantly.
Imitations of the walls made of glass can be found everywhere: in offices, private and multistory buildings, shopping malls, restaurants, etc. The popularity of this material is explained by a large number of positive moments:

Glass Partitions

• convenience of service - a smooth surface does not accumulate dirt and is easy to clean;
• affordable price;
• strength and safety;
• easy installation;
• the ability to solve various tasks without global repair (for example, for fast zoning of workplaces it is enough to order glass partitions in the office, since they are easy to install and do not worsen the lighting);
• uncritical weight, which is important in some buildings;
• durability;
• large assortment, which allows you to embody a lot of design concepts.

Insulated Glass

Insulated Glass

Also called double-pane glass, it consists of two pieces of glass, with a moisture-absorbing sealant between them. Insulated glass can only be installed into windows or openings that are prepared for this purpose.

What Causes Fog or Condensation in Between the Glass in Your Windows? When the seal between two pieces of glass breaks, it begins to let air in. The difference between the temperature indoors and outdoors causes condensation — moisture collecting in the space between the two panes. We guarantee our insulated glass against condensation. All of our insulated glass is factory-sealed and prepared in minutes.
We will install our insulated glass into your existing window at a much lower cost than buying a new window.

Insulating glass units are fabricated according to project specifications. IG units can be constructed using a large variety of glass products to achieve desired aesthetics, meet design criteria, safety codes and/or to improve solar control and thermal performance.

Insulated glass is produced by taking glass’s thickness into consideration.  A typical sheet of insulated glass uses the base glass with thickness ranging anywhere from 3 mm to 11 mm. Insulated glass can also be produced from tempered glass. A standard insulated glass contains glass layers of same thickness, but special requirements such as security and sound-proof may require various thicknesses for the unit
Glass options include clear, low iron, Low-E's, standard or high performance (spectrally selective) tints, reflective, silk-screened, spandrel, laminated, decorative and wired glass. The glass lites of an IG unit can be annealed, heat-strengthened, tempered or laminated.

Any shape can be cut. Most glass up to ¼” thick can be insulated or made into a double pane.
Giovani Glass uses a patented technology that delivers absolute performance by taking insulating glass spacers to the next level.
